Tréaslaíonn an Bord Bainistíochta le scoláirí na scoile a bhfuair torthaí ardteistiméireachta le linn mí Lúnasa.  Guíonn an Bord gach rath ar na scoláirí seo ina gcéad mír eile dá saol.

Chuala an Bord ó ionadaithe Chomhairle na nDaltaí faoi obair na scoláirí chun ábhair éagsúla a phlé agus agus a ardú le h-údaráis na scoile ar leas an phobail scoile uile.

Bhí an Bod thar a bheith tógtha le cur i láthair na scoláirí agus ghabhann an Bord buíochas dóibh as a gcuid oibre.

Tá an Bord Bainistíochta an-bhuíoch don bhfoireann scoile as an tseirbhís oideachais agus chúraim d’ardchaighdeán a chuirtear ar fáil do scoláirí na scoile.

Moladh Comhairle na dTuismithoirí i dtaobh an raon d’imeachtaí agus cruinnithe a bhíonn ar siúl ag an gComhairle ar mhaithe le seirbhísí na scoile a fhorbairt agus a fheabhsú.  Bhí ardmholadh ar leith maidir leis an tacaíocht chun íoc as oifigeach chléireachais i gcomhair trí lá in aghaidh na seachtaine.

Gabhadh buíochas do phatrúin an choláiste, an Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Luimnigh agus an Chláir agus Príomh Fheidhmeannaigh, George O’ Callaghan agus a chuid foirne bainistíochta maidir leis an dul chun cinn faoin gcampas nua.

Beidh an chéad chruinniú eile den Bhord Bainistíochta ar siúl roimh na Cásca 2019.

The Board of Management of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh met on Monday, 17 December 2018 at 6.00pm.  The following is the agreed report for the school community.

The Board commends the excellent Student Council of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh for the exemplary report its representatives presented to the Board at its meeting.  The Board is very impressed with the level of engagement from the Council with school authorities, in addressing issues of interest and concern relating to pupils.

The Board praised the staff for the very high standard of care and professionalism at the school.

The Board would like to thank the Limerick and Clare Education & Training Board (LCETB), Chief Executive, Mr. George O’ Callaghan and his management team for the progress on the new school campus.

The Board is very grateful to the Parents of the Parents Council for its interest in the school.  In particular, the Council was praised for the money its members have raised to pay for an additional clerical officer for three days a week.

The next Board of Management meeting will take place prior to Easter 2019.
